Mynott's Wing

Mynott's Wing is a collaboration with Richard Cox-Smith, who has played extensively across the folk and blues world over many years. He is also a very talented rag time and gypsy jazz guitarist.

Guy and Richard started playing together in 2009 having met around the folk circuit a couple of years before. People had commented that their styles complemented each other and so the collaboration started to develop.

Both continue to play with other bands and projects and solo. Their repertoire has evolved and now includes a number of Django pieces and some ragtime as well as folk and blues items. The styles can be quite eclectic and is best described as acoustic roots music although the occasional electric guitar has found its way on to their recordings.

Mynott's WIng can be heard at folk clubs and festivals around the south of England.
